NEW this year: Donation Drive! Before anything goes in the dumpster, Bare Necessities Foundation will accept donations. They’re an all-volunteer nonprofit here in Montgomery County that provides food, furniture, and clothing to local families in need. If it’s still usable, give it a second life!

The Plantations Two Board is looking for volunteers to help manage portions of the tasks required to maintain our community's common areas (i.e., trees, landscaping, path maintenance, play courts, etc.).

(Montgomery County Code: Sec. 5-203. Public nuisance and other violations.)
(a) Violation. An owner must not:
(1) Allow an animal other than an altered cat to be at large. An animal that is participating in a qualified activity is not at large unless the animal leaves the activity.
(c) An owner must prevent the owner’s animal from having unwanted contact with a person or another domesticated animal at all times.
Sec. 5-101. Definitions.
At Large - Any dog is at large if it is outside the owner’s premises and not leashed, unless it is a service dog, is in a dog exercise area designated by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission, or is participating in an approved activity.
The common area of a homeowner’s association, condominium or cooperative is not the owner’s premises.
($100 fine for first offense; $500 fine for each subsequent violation)
Unwanted Contact - An animal’s unwelcome or unsolicited threatening physical contact or close proximity to a person or a domesticated animal that occurs outside of an owner’s property and causes alarm in a reasonable person, such as biting, chasing, tracking, inhibiting movement, or jumping.
($500 fine)
