  • Please note: Bylaws state that trash cans and recycling bins must not be placed outside for pickup until the morning of the pickup day. 
  • Holidays:
    • Trash pickup will only be impacted by holidays if Christmas or New Years fall on a Monday or Thursday.
    • Recycling pickup follows the county holiday schedule and Tuesday pickups may also be delayed due to inclement weather. See below.
  • Please visit the Montgomery County Recycling & Trash Page for more information, to request additional bins, or to sign up for reminders.
  • As a Plantations Two resident, you are entitled to 2 bulk pickups per year.  
  • Visit www.potomacdisposal.com and click the "Request Bulk Pickup" for more details. There may be some limitations to the items in the bulk pickups.  

Trash pickup: Mondays & Thursdays
Recycling pickup: Tuesdays 

We are self-managed, meaning we have not hired an outside management company to handle the day-to-day business for the association. However, this arrangement is dependent upon the involvement and active support of residents. Our committees include the following: Architectural Control Committee (ACC), which reviews and approves homeowners requests for improvements to their properties; Grounds Committee, which oversees the maintenance of common areas, the playground, courts and parking areas; Pool Committee, which works with a pool management company to maintain and manage the pool and issues pool passes; and the Social Committee, which organizes social events for the community. Please take the time to volunteer on one or more of our committees by e-mailing board@plantationstwo.com.

The Proposed 2020/2021 Budget has been mailed to all homeowners. If you do not receive your copy by September 8th, please e-mail the board for a copy. The board will take comments from the community and then vote on the budget at the October meeting.
